I didn't get to the pool yesterday because it rained, so my stomach is still very, VERY white (not that being at the pool would make much of a difference considering I bathe in SPF 80 before sun exposure, lol)! At any rate, I can't really see much of a difference in how far out the bump is this week versus Week 14, but I do notice that the upper part of my abdomen is catching up with the lower part in the "poking out" department.
Also, I can feel the baby kick! It isn't all the time and usually I have to be flat on my back or sitting still but when I do feel it, it is a definite kicking sensation. Almost like little kernels of popcorn are popping inside...it's one of the coolest feelings! Today at church during the praise and worship, Baby S was bouncing around so much I can only assume she/he was grooving with the tunes; maybe Baby S will be musically inclined which is something that neither Rock nor myself can really claim! All the books say that Baby S can definitely hear at this point so we are also talking to her/him daily saying that mommy and daddy love her/him already and we can't wait to meet!
Two more weeks until we know the sex of Baby S and can finally put a name to all that tapping in there! :) OK, here are the pictures, ENJOY!
This is from the What to Expect When You're Expecting website on what the baby looks like inside the womb at Week 16.

OMG Sam, That was so cool. Omg we can't wait to hear what the baby gender is. I love the way that you know that the baby can hear.
ReplyDeleteThis was a great idea. Love you!!!
