One year old and being silly
Tantrum...oh toddlers haha!!
We woke up after Abby slept in until 8:30 (she must have known it was her birthday) and then went downstairs and had a nice breakfast. Then we got dressed and played with some toys, watched the birthday episode of "Yo Gabba Gabba" and then Abby took a short nap. After her nap we had lunch and then headed outside to play. It was 80+ degrees and humid out, so it didn't really feel like a Fall day, but we played in the leaves anyway!
Birthday nap on the beanbag
For dinner Rock and I decided that since our first meal after Abby was born was Olive Garden we should keep with that tradition so we got take out OG and Abby LOVED the rigatoni and chicken.
Then we cleaned up and got ready for cupcakes! Much to my surprise, she wasn't too fond of the super sweetness of the frosting! She took one bite and spit it out and then just played with it a bit, but didn't really try to eat it.
Mommy and Daddy got cupcakes, too!
Stinker Girl Faces
After our cupcake we played for a little bit and then Abby opened up presents. She loved ripping the paper and seemed to really enjoy all the things she was opening except for a few "regifted" items. I thought it'd be great to wrap up some of her old toys so that she could have more things to open (since half the fun is opening the gift), but she must have known the new things she was opening were novel because when she opened her first old toy, she made the.funniest.face.ever and Rock got a picture of it! Her expression was an "oh wow...my old binkie, greaaaat..." kind of look and every time Rock and I look at the picture we giggle!
Not too pleased with an "old" toy
Chubby baby legs, boots with the fur and momma slippers
I am so looking forward to Year Two and all the fun things it will bring.
THE END.

Abby, We sure loved seeing you! We love you so much. Can't wait to see you again.......xoxo
