Abby found this poster with her Daddy's picture and carried it around the house
We got to my parents' house in the end of September and it was really warm so we took Abby to the Suwanee Town Center that has a fountain that you can walk in and she loved it. She played in the fountain for so long that her little hands and feet started to wrinkle up. The first night we had to take her out of the fountain against her will because the sun had completely set and it was starting to cool down. The second night we took her there, we went a little earlier so she could enjoy it for longer and then we took her out right before a rain storm. I can't wait to take her back there when she is older and it is a lot warmer so she can play for hours!

My mom and I also hit up some garage sales in their new neighborhood and I found AMAZING things that were either brand new or very gently used for outstanding prices. For example, I got a Peg Perego high chair that retails for $300 for $10; Gymboree, Baby Gap, Hartstrings and OshKosh brand clothing for 50 cents an outfit (!!); and some barely used Size 5 stride rite big girl shoes for $2! It was an excellent day for great garage sale finds and I also love that it is recycling...a green win-win!

October 1st was a very chilly day and we got to take a beautiful walk in the amazing Fall weather. It was a great way to start October and Abby even got to wear her new kitty/pumpkin shirt to celebrate. The next day we packed up and headed to the north Georgia mountains where we went to a "Pick-Ur-Own" farm and got the total Fall experience. We went to a petting zoo, picked apples, got to take a hay ride through the farm and had warm apple cider and apple fritters as a snack. It was a perfect day to do all that because it was only about 65 degrees and beautifully sunny. We got some great pictures and Abby had a blast, especially when we got to go see and pet the animals.

Abby's Grandma Stevens came down to Georgia to see her and we all stayed at my parents house. It was so awesome to get to see Abby spending time with grandparents from BOTH sides of the family and I am so appreciative of my parents' amazing hospitality. They welcomed my mother-in-law with open arms and we all had a great time visiting. The ladies all had fun shopping and Abby was gifted some more awesome clothes as an early birthday gift.

A day after Mama J left, Abby and I packed up and headed home too. I wanted to get home to make sure everything was still here and I had a few orders for cases I needed to make sure I made before a deadline. The next day, Saturday October 8, I took Abby to The Farm House Restaurant. We had an amazing lunch and then got to see all the farm animals and let Abby walk around for a bit. She absolutely adored being able to walk up to the chickens and ducks and donkey and goats. I kept signing "Old McDonald" to her and I could see her making the connection that these were the animals we sung about all the time. She even started clapping with delight! They also had hay rides but we are going to wait for her daddy to get home and then we'll all go as a family.

Abby is growing each day and it amazes me how quickly it all goes. I looked at pictures I took when we left to go to my parents and then the pictures form the farm yesterday and in those two weeks she got taller and definitely has more hair.
I am in a little disbelief that she is about to turn one NEXT month, but I am beyond thankful for each and every day I get to share with my little Stinkerdoodle!
