Last Year

One year ago today was Abby's baby shower and I was spending my 10/10/10 celebrating my little munchkin with my close friends in Maryland.  I had such an amazing time and miss everyone but am so glad I have kept in contact with them.

Today, a year later, I spent the day with my Abby G and we went to lunch with my friend Toni, who I hadn't see since 7th grade in 1998.  It was so nice to see her and Abby behaved amazingly which allowed us to catch up.  Afterwards we ran a few errands, came home and then played inside for the rest of the day because it was rainy.

Abby also got her first fat lip today while she was dancing around the coffee table.  She accidentally stepped on a pillow that she had left on the ground earlier and that sent her one way and the pillow the other.  Unfortunately she ended up breaking her fall with her lip on the table.  There was a little blood, but after nursing for a little bit and sharing a popsicle with Mommy, Abby G is back up to being what my dad affectionately dubbed "The G Force."

I am also finishing up some wipe cases for a new natural baby store here in Columbus.  I also bought some beautiful wool batting from a small-town mill in Pennsylvania and am just working away at turning a big fluffy bag of wool into cute little eco-friendly dryer balls for the same store.  I hope both sell well because I'd love to continue to have that creative outlet.

Right now we are watching DWTS and Abby is banging her cup along with the beat of the music, in true Abby-G fashion!
