13W4D Preggo

Here are my pictures from 13W4D pregnant with Baby #2:

Oh, hi, Baby Bump!

Normally I crop the sink out of my pictures, but I had to include the full shot so you could see little mischief-making Abby!

Looking more and more like a baby bump!

Starting to round out in the front view

This past weekend we went to Pioneer Farms in Austin so that Abby could see the animals and so that Rock and I could shake our heads at the people who came and settled in Texas BEFORE air conditioning!  Abby met tons of animals including cows, donkeys, pigs, horses, bunnies, a kitty, and long horn cattle.  Out of all the animals, the kitty was definitely her favorite!  She loved that cat which she called "Meow Meow" and the cat was such a good sport and never once got upset with her.  I asked Rock to hide the kitty under his shirt to take home since I doubt we would ever find such a patient and kid-friendly cat, but his conscience got this best of him and he declined.

Meeting a cow for the first time.

Not too sure if she likes the cow or is scared by it...

...but she definitely likes the kitty and luckily she liked Abby, too!

Just hanging out with Meow Meow

She had to get eye-level with the chickens

It was too hot even for the emblematic longhorns!

It was in the high 90s at the farm but the sun was so bright that it made it feel like it was more like 190!  I set aside all pride in not looking like a dork (or foreign tourist) and carried around my umbrella with me for shade because my pregnant booty was not about to roast in the intense Texas sun!  After we had all we could take of the farm, we headed over to a Whole Foods and had a delicious lunch and Abby ate a whole pint of assorted berries.  I guess seeing farm animals works up a little girl's appetite!

On Sunday we took it easy and went out to Stillhouse Hollow Lake to swim and relax.  We also packed a small picnic but didn't get to enjoy it because the bugs started to get really bad and for the first time ever, I forgot to pack our California Baby bug spray! :-x

Abby has been doing so well with her potty training!  She was completely accident-free while we were on our day trip to Austin on Saturday and we used several different potties around town with no problem.

Abby wearing her raincoat from Great Grandma Stearns around inside

Abby and Mommy Olive Garden lunch date! (She was a definite fan!)

She is also now completely weaned from nursing.  It is a weird feeling because while I enjoy having the freedom, I still feel like I lost something since it has been part of our relationship for 20 months!  I do have to say though that it came at a completely natural time for both her and me and it was a perfect end to a great nursing experience.  I also really love how we started cuddling now instead of nursing.  She will just crawl up next to me, burrow into my arms, and hug me and it absolutely melts my heart!

Babies sure do grow up quickly!
