Hahaha not sure why I am making this face.

I have so much to catch up on so I am going to break this all down into separate blog posts!

So last week we went to MOPS and Abby did NOT want to be there and she let everyone know by crying [read: screaming and flinging herself against the door] for an hour before they came and got me.  They said she had a temperature but I thought it was probably just because she had been so upset, but it turns out she really was sick.  She had a fever, diarrhea and overall fatigue for about two days.  Then, just as she was starting to feel better, I ended up getting sick!  Except my illness was all in my stomach and it was NOT fun being alone (Rock is in field for two weeks), pregnant, sick and watching a toddler.  We watched about every movie we own just so I could keep Abby occupied while I was out of commission on the couch.

The worst part was I had been putting off grocery shopping for awhile and was going to go the day after MOPS but Abby was sick so then I was going to go the next day but then I got sick!  We had next to nothing left in the house--no fresh fruit, vegetables, milk, cereal--nada.

One night all I could manage to get for Abby to eat before getting ill was popcorn, two apple sauce pouches and a can of fruit.

LUCKILY, I have amazing friends and my friend Kimi ran to the grocery store for me and picked up some things so Miss Abby G would have healthy meals while I was sick.

At the end of this extremely long week, my mom came into town to visit us and I was so happy to see her.  Abby was so excited to have my mom, aka Mimi, here that the next day when she woke up the very first thing she shouted was "MIMI HERE!!!"

We had a nice and relaxing Veterans' Day Weekend and then decided to go to the Round Rock Outlets to shop a little after the long weekend.  Right when we get there, I ended up throwing my back out by putting Abby's jogging stroller into the trunk! I must have pinched a nerve too or something because a shock wave of pain went through my back into my sides and around my belly.  We decided to cut out shopping at the outlets and went to IKEA to get some lunch and some things I definitely needed for the house and I hobbled around like only a broken pregnant lady can.  Again, I was SO happy to have my mom here because I could barely stand up from a seated position without assistance, let alone pick Abby up.  I seriously have no clue what I would have done if I had been out shopping alone with Abby and this happened because I couldn't get her in her car seat to get home!

My back is actually still very sore/tight but doesn't hurt nearly as much as it did when I first tweaked it, so I am very grateful for that.

The next day was Abby's 2nd birthday celebration and the subject of my next blog post!
