Week 31.5 Pictures

So, Little Miss Abigail will be considered full term in SIX more weeks...SIX!!!  That's crazy to me!  She isn't due for another nine weeks, but still; if she is considered full term and is completely healthy at 37 weeks and would like to come early, we'd love to have her! :)  Last week at my 30 week doctor's appointment, my doctor told me that Abby is measuring exactly on target.  She is positioned oddly inside and so the top of my uterus isn't in the center by my stomach, but rather is more on the right side toward my ribs and that is why last visit we got a weird reading.  She said if you compensate for the strange position, the fundal height is right on target!  Abby also decided to make her personality known when the doctor tried to get her heartbeat.  She put the fetal doppler on the right side of my belly and Abby kicked it; she put it on the lower left side and Abby headbutted it; and she finally put it in the center and Abby punched it!!!  The doctor looked at me and said "Myyyy someone has an active baby!"  I told her that she was just getting it all out now so she could be so calm and quiet when she comes out! ;)  The doctor told me not to get my hopes up on that but that an active baby was their favorite because it meant she was healthy!

I got home today at lunch time to see a package from Little Posh Bebe and couldn't wait to open it up!  My friend Erika makes all the items on the LPB website by hand and I am in love with everything she makes.  I couldn't wait for my baby shower to receive one of her headbands, so I ordered one for Abby now, as well as made a special request for a pin for my diaper bag.  Well, Erika did an amazing job...even the wrapping  the items came in was beautiful.  See for yourself:

I can't wait to see Abby wearing the headband and I love how the pin makes the diaper bag pop just that much more! :)  I'll probably order more pins from her in different colors so that it can go with the different seasons!  As you can see, I am clearly excited!

I also snapped a few pictures of my belly...just to warn you, I am wearing some maternity jeans and (at least in the first picture) I think they pinch my belly in a funky way making it end abruptly...you be the judge:

I think these last two pictures look a little more natural w/less of a drastic cut off.

Hasn't my belly risen?  I feel like Abby isn't growing outward as much as she is growing UPWARD.  I guess that make sense though, considering I have the world's longest torso!

Speaking of Abby, she is kicking me right now which usually means she wants me to eat something...ahh eating!  I told Rock the other day I felt like that baby from the 1990s show "Dinosaurs." The "FEED ME!" baby dinosaur with the big pink tummy.  That is how I feel when I eat especially if my shirt rides up and my belly sticks out.  I think we definitely resemble each other:

LOL!!!  OK, that is it for now, with all this talk about dinosaurs and eating I think I am going to go get an elliptical workout in and then go do some work on some dinner...AND dessert.  (For Abby, of course!)
