Like Daddy, Like Daughter

I was just going through some pictures I had in different folders to make sure that everything was organized correctly (mostly to make sure that Abby's pictures and the belly pictures were in correct order) and I found a picture from Rock's deployment that made me giggle!  It's a picture from one of the long waits in the airport during his redeployment and shows him racked out in his fluffy marshmallow jacked on the airport floor...BUT the best part is how much Abby resembles him in her 18 week anatomy ultrasound picture!  They have the exact same facial expression!  I wanted to share the comparison with everyone here too:

Tell me that isn't adorable!  LOL! :)  It's crazy how at only 18 weeks of life she can look so much like her daddy!  I can't wait to see what she looks like after she's born!  Hopefully really chubby so I can give her a lot of big cheek kisses!  

I had a doctor's appointment yesterday and everything checked out--her heartbeat was strong and she is measuring exactly at 34 weeks.  Next appointment is the last one I have before I switch to an every week appointment schedule!  That means that little Abby is coming SOON!  I know I keep saying that, but it's still hard to wrap my head around the fact!  This pregnancy has gone by so quickly I can't believe that it's just a matter of weeks before we meet her!

This weekend is Abby's shower so I will be sure someone takes a lot of pictures (because I am horrible at remembering to) and I will post them as soon as I get a chance.  I am so excited to see everyone and get a chance to celebrate Abby and hang out one more time as a group before she comes!
