Here are my Week 34 pictures. I took them really early in the morning before my 8:30 AM nonstress test (NST) at the hospital, so sorry about how rough I look:
34 Weeks pregnant with Baby Shane
My growing belly.
His back is along left side of my tummy with his booty at top left and that's the way my belly is leaning now!
I had a NST today at 8:30 and an OB appointment at 9:40 and both went really well. I was done with the NST after about 30 minutes and the nurse practitioner who is in charge of all NSTing said everything looked good with Shane and my blood pressure and O2 levels were all normal. Hearing this really helps me feel good and validates the fact that my high blood pressure readings probably have more to do with stress (mental) than anything. The OB appointment was just a review of the last two NSTs and ultrasound I had. I told the doctor about my birth plan and he said that since my NSTs look so good, and if they continue to look the way they do, he could definitely see me having a midwife attend my labor instead of an OB. That piece of information MADE.MY.DAY! I was so happy to hear that I still have that possibility because a midwife would be MUCH more apt to help me have my ideal birth experience than an OB, and the doctor today even said as much.
I know this is short, but I have to get a certain little stinker into the bath, so I will leave you with a few pictures:
The following pictures are of Abby opening an early Christmas gift from her Mimi and Poppy...a
mini Boba baby carrier just like the one her mommy has! :)
Carrying baby hands-free!
Happy about having her baby close.
Cuddling with her baby in the Boba while watching "Frosty the Snowman."
And this photo of her dancing flamenco this afternoon:
And last but not least, Abby and Daddy cuddling and watching "Clone Wars" this morning:
