Abigail was born today, 11/15/2010, at 5:51 PM weighing 8 pounds even and measuring in at 20 inches long!!! Her labor via pitocin was started today at 9:30 AM and when mommy got to 5 cm it was DEFINITELY time for some medicine, so an epidural was ordered. It must have really helped relax me because I went from 5 cm to 8 cm in about an hour and then 8 to 10 cm in another hour. When it was time to push, I pushed for about 10 minutes with my contractions and had my beautiful baby girl!!! It was the.most.amazing.feeling.ever! They placed her right on my chest, skin-to-skin and we bonded for about 30 whole minutes before they took her to weigh her and measure her. That was amazing because she instantaneously stopped crying seconds after being born when she was on my chest and could hear my heartbeat. It was crazy to see a baby so content only moments into her life! I can't stop looking at her and thinking how lucky I am to have been blessed to be her mommy!
Abby is currently passed out in her daddy's arms and we haven't had a lot of time to take pictures but I have some from right after she was born that I'll share. More are to come!

Rock wants me to mention to everyone that at one point during a contraction, I bit him. Not hard, but still...I bit him. LOL!!!
She is wonderful! Good job you two! My love to the new Stevens addition, this one's definitely not a furbaby:)
