So I just wanted to write a quick blog about my first OB appointment. To put it bluntly, it was a dud.
My first appointment with Abby's pregnancy was an informational session, blood labs and my dating ultrasound.
My first appointment this time was just information, paperwork, and blood labs and that is it...they didn't even listen for a heartbeat!
Also, I had to be referred to an off post hospital for a dating ultrasound and I have to wait for them to call me to schedule it so I don't know when that will be. My real first OB appointment with a midwife isn't until the 12th of this month.
Anyway, I am happy to see that the hospital seems to be very accepting of bringing children to appointments which is great because it makes my life so much easier not having to track down child care for each appointment!
I will post Week 8 pictures and an update tomorrow!
